A message from Sydney Montgomery, Esq.:

The past few months for the Barrier Breakers® team have been extremely busy, but full of greatness! First, I was able to give a TEDx Talk about the importance of first-generation students in the professional world (see below!). On top of that, we were able to get the word out about our mission at conferences such as the 2024 IECA Conference and the 2024 NALP Education Conference.

While we were busy spreading the word about our non-profit, we also launched our First-Generation Campaign, raising $100,000 for first-generation students to get the support they need in higher education. The campaign will run through First-Generation Giving Day on June 22, which coincides with our 3rd Annual Break Into Law Conference!

As you can see, there are plenty of amazing things going on here at Barrier Breakers®! I appreciate you taking the time to learn a bit more about what we're up to. Don't hesitate to reach out if you want to get involved!

Once they're in college, they forge their own path without the support of generational wealth backing them.
